A almost perfect score has resulted in Little Ladybirds being rated as one of the top 20 nurseries in the North-East of England – for the second year running.

We have been listed as a top 20 recommended nursery for 2019 in awards ran by the UK’s leading nursery review website,

Reviews from parents are used to decide the awards and in the last 12 months, Little Ladybirds, which is based at Preston Farm, achieved a score of 9.9 out of 10.

Parents are asked to rate, from Excellent to Very Poor a range of features, including overall standard of the nursery, its facilities, resources, learning, activities and food/nutrition and care.

Among those who left reviews which counted towards this year’s rating for Little Ladybirds include
Hannah Frazer, whose son Luca has been at the nursery since he was 11 months old.

She said: “My son thoroughly enjoys going to nursery and I know he is in the best care. The facilities, manager and staff are brilliant. I will be keeping my son in Little Ladybirds until he is 5 as I cannot fault anything, and the nursery is outstanding.”

Another parent, Sarah Wassell whose two children Noah and Ava have both been at Little Ladybirds, said: “The staff are incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and professional. They provide brilliant care as well as creative learning opportunities for children of all ages. I wouldn’t consider using any other childcare provider as I trust the staff at Little Ladybirds to provide the best care.”

Little Ladybirds Day Nursery Manager, Jennifer Thompson, said “We are thrilled to have been named as one of the top 20 nurseries in the North East of England for the second year in a row.

“As the award is solely dependent on the reviews of parents, we have to ensure we meet and exceed their expectations, so to achieve an almost perfect score is amazing.

“We would like to thank all our parents for the fantastic support they give us, and a special mention should also go to our staff who go above and beyond every day to ensure we remain an outstanding nursery.

“We’re going for 10 out of 10 in 2020!”
